£1000 Referral Per Negligence Case

It's these guys again. OK, they're not ambulance chasing lawyers.. they are lawyers who chase ambulance chaing lawyers. Yup, that seems pretty much like the bottom of the barrel to me. Their mothers must be so proud of them.

Anyway, the spam originates from 94.193.80.141(mail2.mrhsolicitors.co.uk) via 212.227.17.9 (moutng.kundenserver.de), spamvertising the site www.First4Accidents.co.uk on 82.165.79.150 (1&1, Germany).

Dear Sir/Madam,

There has been a substantial increase in the amount of pre-med settlements of road traffic accident personal injury claims as Insurers across the board cash in on massive savings by offering early settlement of cases thus saving an average of £1,500 per file in damages and medical fees.
The average pre-med settlement ranges from £1,000 to £1,500 as compared to the average settlement following disclosure of medical evidence at £2,000 to £2,500.
Did you know that a Claimant Solicitor will receive the same amount of fixed costs for settling a case on a pre-med basis as they would for settling after having obtained medical evidence and undertaking further work in order to properly advise the Claimant on the extent of their injury?
Unfortunately there is a suspicion that Claimant Solicitors have been cashing in on pre-med settlements given that their costs are paid at the same amount anyway for less work!!   It does seems that there is substantial trend to minimise the amount of work required on a case and cash in as quickly as possible to meet settlement and cash flow targets.
Solicitors who adopt this approach however could have been negligent in their handling of the claim and therefore liable to pay the Claimant compensation to remedy the effect of their conduct.
The honest Claimant is unfortunately the victim here as both the Insurer and Solicitors look to cash in on their claims.
Do you have Clients who feel they have been left shortchanged by their Solicitors in personal injury claims?
*       Have your Clients been properly advised on the consequences of pre-med settlement?
*       Did your Client accept the pre-med settlement or did a cheque just turn up in the post?
*       Does your Client feel that they were pressured into accepting the pre-med settlement or told that this was the best option in their case?
*       Has your Client suffered substantial injuries which were not taken into consideration?
*       Did your Client inform their Solicitors that they were/or are still suffering from their injuries?
*       Were your Client's special damages, loss of earnings etc ignored?
We would be interested to hear from you and pay a referral fee of £1,000 on admission of liability on any claim for professional negligence against Solicitors.
